Seniors at Salem are very important.  They have seen many changes over the years, including building remodels, addition of a preschool, and changes in pastors.  They have watched the world change and technology grow by leaps and bounds.  They continue to pray for our planet and everyone on it and that we all will live the life of Christ.

We recognize and appreciate the many years of service they have given, helping Salem’s programs, energy, and Christian love be present in Barrington since 1893.

On the third Wednesday of each month Salem hosts a Senior Luncheon for its older adult members. This is a free meal cooked and served by Salem volunteers as a way to say “Thank You” for everything our seniors have done, and in many cases, still do.  It is one way the church is able to show gratitude for long-time service to the congregation and the community.

We can use a few more volunteers to help prepare, serve and clean up for the Senior Luncheon.  Please call the church office at (847) 381-0524 for more information.
