MT2K (Mission Trip to Korea)
4 people from Salem UMC joined 3 other UM Churches on a mission trip to South Korea form July 18-31, 2023. This team engaged in two mission sites: one for the elderly and homeless and one for an English-speaking VBS for young children. The 4 churches are First UMC in Woodstock, Community UMC in Naperville, Good Samaritan UMC in Addison & Salem UMC in Barrington.
MT2K team arrived safely, visited DMZ and offered our prayers for peace.
